Join us to usher in the sun and celebrate the return of spring with an experience based on the book Sun Bread, by Elisa Kleven. After reading the heart-warming story of how a creative baker helped end the dreary winter weather by baking a sun bread and sharing it with her friends, we’ll make our own! We’ll prepare, shape, decorate and bake a big sun bread together. Children will also make smaller personal sun loaves to take home. For children aged 3 and 4, and their caregivers.
Group Size: 6 children (must be accompanied by an adult)

Class is taught by Naomi Alfini.  Naomi is an early childhood educator who loves exploring, creating and cooking with young children. She also particularly enjoys celebrating the changing of the seasons- and none so much as springtime! She lives in Duxbury with her husband and 2 1/2-year-old son.
